As an Electrical Engineer atIntegrated Design Group, Inc., the successful candidates responsibilities will be wide-ranging. These responsibilities include the following:
- Performing functions to develop/design engineering solutions for new or existing buildings or processes.
- Leading the electrical design efforts for multiple projects, delegating responsibilities to support staff.
- Working under broad direction from requirements described in the associated project scope document or other work instructions provided by the Project Manager.
- Establish and develop detailed project plans and specifications through engineering calculations and layouts to meet the customer's requirements in compliance with statutory or regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with clients, in-house resources and vendor to obtain information and assistance.
- Provide technical expertise to assist/train less experienced designers/engineers.
- Assist the Project Manager in the planning, development and administration of the engineering project.
_ Prepare scop of work descriptions and man-hour estimates for project proposals; attend business development meetings with prospective clients to assist sales on technical level.
Requirements are as follows:
- BSEE Degree
- PE
- 10+ years of experience
- Demonstrated project leadership skills
- AutoCAD is required, 3D is a plus
- Experience with SKM or other short circuit/load analysis software is a plus
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Must be able to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written

Requirements are as follows:
- Candidate must be intelligent, articulate and driven.

- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Experience responding to RFPs.
- College degree.
- Must live in the Boston area or vicinity.
- Drivers license.
- Position will require 10% travel
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with Senior Business Development Person/Principal.
- Cold call prospective customers to solicit sales of company products and services.
- Follow up with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns and other promotional efforts.
- Travel to customer locations to make sales presentations.
- Apply technical knowledge of company services to best meet customer needs.
- Maintain appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts for each customer.
- Understand and support the company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers, and to foster the development of long-term business relationships.
- Attend trade shows on behalf of the company to present information regarding company services.
- Assist writing and submitting proposals.
