We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development person for the data center design sector. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients and can be based out of our Boston or Dallas office.
Responsibilities include targeting, networking, fostering relationships, and closing business with clients; supporting Principals in maintaining existing key business relationships; participating in and contributing to the sales team for intelligence, assessment, planning and strategy; identifying and tracking market trends; performing research and analysis on competition; and attaining sales revenue goal for new and existing projects.

A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Business Administration plus 15 years of experience is required; with 5 years of experience being in the technology market (preferably data centers). Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in closing new business, developing strategic relationships with top-level executives of target clients, demonstrate a high degree of foresight and mature judgment, and possess an in-depth knowledge of the commercial design and construction market (preferably data centers) and/or clients.

Integrated Design Group is in need of a licensed Electrical Engineer in the Boston office. We are looking for a person experienced in electrical design, including power generation and distribution, lighting and general electrical systems for buildings. We are an architecture and engineering firm that functions as an integrated team to better communicate and coordinate efforts to complete projects more efficiently. Your project involvement will include several types of facilities such as data centers and other mission critical facilities, laboratories, high-tech manufacturing, corporate office buildings, and central utilities plants.

Requirements are as follows:
- BSEE degree
- PE
- 10-15 years experience
- AutoCAD experience required, 3D is a plus
- SKM or other short circuit / load analysis software a plus
- Must have knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Must be able to work within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written

We are seeking a recent architecture or engineering grad with familiarity in the design industry and an interest in Project Management for our Boston office.

Responsibilities could include assisting the Project Managers on the following:

- Prepare and/or assist in the proposal writing of a given project.
- Provide the main point of contact between our team and the client.
- Create meeting minutes notes for all project meetings.
- Develop coordination guidelines and/or needs lists.
- Working with discipline managers, develop client design fee change orders.
- Review project costs and generate billings to client.
- Chair and/or represent Integrated Design Group at construction meetings.
- At completion of project assure close-out procedures for the project.
- Assist in developing Company Guidelines and other project management tools.

We are seeking someone with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 5-8 years of plumbing and fire protection design experience. Integrated Design Group is a leader in the design of mission critical facilities, requiring challenging design of fire protection and fire suppression systems; extensive mission critical experience is a must. To be successful, candidate must have excellent technical skills, proficient in 3-D cadd, strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPD and NICET level 2 are highly desirable. Ability to get PE is a plus.
