PHILOSOPHY
Clients who work with Integrated Design Group benefit from the investment we have made in the most cutting-edge technologies, the best and brightest team of data center architects and engineers, and the four qualities that have defined us since day one:
- Focus on Data Center Design
During the dot-com boom in the 1990s, much like today, design firms flocked to pursue work in the data center market, but few have been at it for the long haul. Data center design and design of associated spaces represent 95% of our work. This has provided our data center architects and engineers with unparalleled experience in all types of data centers -- new buildings and renovations, all tier levels, and a range of sizes. Our rich experience in this field allows us to be on the cutting edge of data center design innovation
- Culture of Excellence
Fortune 500 companies and the country's finest universities can choose any data center design firm they want. Why do they repeatedly select Integrated Design Group? Because we have built an organizational culture that is focused on customer service, teamwork and accepting our clients' goals as our own.
- Principal Involvement
Many firms claim to provide principal-level leadership on every project. Unfortunately this means the client will see the principal once at the kick-off meeting and then again at the ribbon cutting. At Integrated Design Group, principal involvement means that a key stakeholder is thoroughly involved in your project, providing design leadership, meeting with you regularly and assuring that the appropriate amount of resources are committed to you.
- Commitment to Green Data Center Design
The majority of our data center architects and engineers are LEED-accredited and two of our principals hold the uncommon Data Center Energy Practitioner designation. This rich education in green data center design informs directions for all of our data center projects. Additionally, our chief technology advisor, Mark Monroe (also executive director of The Green Grid), ensures that our clients and staff are the first to know about the latest advances in green data center design. Mark is involved in the data center design process for several key projects. He is also the moderator of our "Best Practices in Green Data Center Design" roundtable program.
We have received the following accolades in recognition of our outstanding growth and accomplishments within the data center industry:
